What I am stating here is that we must not call it music. For me It should be separate from human toiled music/songs. Generation is not producing. Also that bigger tragedy is that the Suno's/Udio's have just ripped the work and now it is generating pablum. This is pushing the expansion of art but has just made creativity industrialized. The stuff should not be called music. It is just 'sound generation'. We as a society have just lowered the bar to feed Silly - Con -Valley impersonating innovation which is word that has been bastardized!
I sense we are feeling a large force at work. The internet as we know it is breaking, as it wasn't built for this. Perhaps it's not a bad thing. Perhaps we should be far more rooted in the physical and our communities. I'm not suggesting it will disappear - I am sure there will be high trust networks - but that people's priorities might change. Why spend so much time in a place flooded with illusions and lies? How good can that be for us?
hard sell for artists, you're telling me i have to pay yet more money to prove music i made with humans is in fact ... human. LOL. just feels like yet another music industry veiled scam to squeeze artists more at worst, deeply ironic at best. can i just upload my Berklee master's degree diploma instead? DDEX can deliver JPGs already right, so why not a 2nd field for music degrees which should be enough to prove that a capable human is involved without some nerds getting rich on backs of musicians (again)? would be lovely if someone builds tech to just exempt those of us who provably trained in the art form of music from all this mess.

Just decided recently to part ways with Ditto. I used their service to shortcut my way into getting a label profile on Beatport. Wouldn’t recommend.

I believe Genotone's concept is for the DSPs to foot the bill for this, not artists, but I take your point either way Mike.
